I am so sorry about Ollie and Tadpole. Glad you have 2 kittens to help you combat grief and fear and shower with love. We cannot save all the people or all the cats, but we can fight like hell for them and love them hard!
Thank you, Christine! I always think of you when I think of my people who love and adopt cats! I appreciate you. And we do have two adorable kittens and they are helping for sure.
It's so interesting that you shared this tonight, because I also wrote about grief on my Substack today. I didn't even touch on the macro-level grief we're all experiencing as a result of genocide, climate disasters, the ongoing erosion of our civil/human rights, etc. I was just contemplating how our culture largely forces us to experience grief individually instead of in community. I think coming together in our grief is one of the most powerful and healing things we can do.
Thank you for sharing these grief resources. I'm a therapist and will passing some of these on. <3
Yes, I so agree! And I’m glad the resources are helpful. ❤️ it’s really good that so many people are writing and talking openly about grief because wow we need to! Thank you for reading and for writing and the work you do.
